About Me

I grew up in Prescott, AZ and moved to Provo to attend BYU. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology with an emphasis in education. While living in Provo I worked as a wellness counselor for 3 years at Good Earth Natural Foods helping people with their health issues. I believe in a holistic approach to our health and well being! The importance of our emotional health plays a huge part into our physical health, this mind body connection is real and has been proven by many scientists time and again.

The fundamentals of our well being are dependent upon acknowledging the emotions we are experiencing, eating nutritionally rich foods, exercising, and drinking water. Pregnant women hear frequently they need to eat well and drink enough water....but how often are you told to be reflective of how you feel? During labor unresolved fears may be made manifest and affect the progress of labor.

I live in Orem, Utah with my husband and 3 kids, Elijah, Sevanah, and Brinlee. I enjoy teaching and always having some kind of project to work on! As a family we enjoy camping, hiking, bike rides, playing in the sun, and hanging out with friends and family.

I am passionate about many things:
** Educating individuals about childbirth, benefits of breast feeding, advantages of baby wearing!

** I really feel it is important to have positive recreation time individually and with your friends/family. These activities can build self confidence, bond closer with the people you love, and help everyone laugh together!
